Gentian Amaro Spritz

“Dry January” is long over but we’ve reset the year to enjoy cocktails with lower ABVs, fresh ingredients and distinctive  flavors.

I make these amaro spritzes when hosting an afternoon party or really anytime I want to serve a refreshing cocktail that packs plenty of herbaceous and floral flavors, but less of a punch. Tangerine slices make for a festive garnish, but any citrus is great!

Ingredients
2 ounces Lo-Fi Aperitifs Gentian Amaro, Aperitivo Cappelletti is also a delicious substitute

1 ounces Grapefruit Infused Sparkling Water, or any citrus or plain sparkling water

3 ounces champagne or sparkling wine, I love La Cantina Pizzolato’s prosecco for its bright

notes and good value

Garnish slices of orange or tangerine

Method
Pour the amaro into each ice-filled wine glass or coupe glass. Top with Prosecco and sparkling water. Garnish with a slice of citrus and enjoy!
